Should I be a personal trainer or group fitness instructor?

I can’t decide. Has anyone done both and can tell me the pros and cons of each? Thanks.

female personal fitness trainers in khobar/dahran?

Are there any female personal trainers that can come to your house and train you? If there arent any, is there anywhere I can go where I would have my own trainer and not just an aerobics instructor or something? Preferably some place where I dont have to pay a yearly membership thing like manaa or saad.

What does it take to become a personal trainer?

I currently am working on dropping my weight and getting in better shape, and besides the goals of personal fitness and health, I want to set a big goal for myself of possibly becoming a personal trainer. I wanted to know if anyone has any advice on sources for helping learn the specifics of personal training. Thank you for your help!

Trying to become esthetician, massage therapists, fitness trainer, and a nail technician?

I want to do it all:
I’m seeing myself as a:
massuese
certified personal fitness trainer
aesthetician
nail technician

and maybe even a nutrionist and a dermatologist

How can I make this happen? What’s schools would you recommend and what certification do I need?
Thanks!

How to go about becoming a personal trainer/fitness consultant?

Fitness and nutrition have been hobbies of mine for years, and i’ve helped many of my friends in these areas during this time. And i gotta say i’ve enjoyed helping them almost as much as going to the gym myself, and some friends even say i’ve been an inspiration to them. So, i feel like i’d love being a personal trainer. In fact i KNOW i’d be good at this job, i’ve practically been doing it for years.

I’m currently a senior in college with an irrelevant degree that may not lead to a job, and i don’t know what to do with the degree anyway. So i feel like being a trainer would allow me to do something i love while making some money before i graduate and quite possibly even after that if i don’t end up going into a "professional" career.

So, my question is, what certification is REALLY accepted in legit gyms? How soon will i be able to make up for the money spent on the certification? Will i be able to work while taking classes?

Where can I get the training I need to become a fitness/personal trainer?

First let me say, I LOVE working out. I love my trainer! When I asked my trainer, where he got his bachelors degree, he said he didn’t have one. This surprised me! But he is certified through the NSCA. He has taken alot of workshops over the last 20 years, which allows him to work successfully without a degree. He has taught me alot over the last 18 months. And I want to help others the way I’ve been helped. I would like to work as a fitness/personal trainer, while getting my bachelors degree in exercise science. Can anyone help me find a reputable vocational school that offers fitness/[personal trainer education?

1: What’s the best vocational school for fitness/personal trainer in the US?
2: What is the better credential to have ACSM, NSCA, AFFA? What is the "gold" standard?
3: Any recommendations before I even plunk down any money on a short/long term program?
4: Is National Personal Trainer Institute a good school?
Any suggestions or opinions would be very helpful.

Best colleges in state of Illinois for pursuing a career in Physical Fitness…IE. Personal Trainer?

And what are some other jobs that are like personal training that is health fitness related. Not rehab
i know you dont need college for personal training, but some employers require degrees i.e. exercise science, and i am also lookin for other career alternates that would be more stable than personal training
